Ideal for heating water without forgetting the hot surface. I use tongs to pour it. cap works fine. Replacement of seals on construction sites. I would buy again. Will update this after much backcountry use. Sometimes the lid leaks if I don't screw it back on carefully - titanium is pretty tough. However, it is very easy to use this way, and then it does not leak. I use it with a Japanese camping table for better stability in mud and boiling water. It's great and saves me maybe 5 ounces because I don't have to carry a separate kettle with me and less to keep track of and keep in my backpack. I recommend it.
