They run true to size. They are very shiny and have a chic quilted cushioned insole. Velcro is long so it's a bit strange. The sequins are not sealed, so they are VERY QUILL, like a gun. You didn't shed blood, but if you hug your child while they're wearing these shoes and your legs aren't protected by denim armor, beware, you'll be hit with the sharp, overwhelming pain that nondescript glitter inflicts. They cling and cling to any noticeable material like my daughter's Queen Elsa lace dress. The dress is completely ruined by these shoes. I'm thinking of covering them with a moj pog to solve this problem. However, Elsa's dress could not be saved and had to be thrown in the trash. Unfortunately, after just a week, it started looking like Zombie Elsa.
