I'm installing a Lever 2 charging station for an electric car. I've tried four times to insert the load wires, working with 8ga stranded wire, in a position where I can't see the terminal hole, but I haven't been able to grab them yet. I don't understand why the two wires don't go into the clamp after loosening the screws far enough to fully open the clamp while holding the screw down (nothing keeps it open when the screw is loosened). I made my living as a mechanic, so I kind of understand these things. And all screws are slotted, and the screwdriver likes to slip out. Because of this, I haven't bothered with slotted screws for a long time. Come on, Square D, use Phillips or Star screws.
