I've tried several shaving gels and mousses and this is the only shaving product that completely eliminates irritation on my skin. It doesn't lather as easily as regular shaving gel, but as long as your skin is really damp (I use it in the shower) you can lather it up. The only thing I don't like is the tube. Since the gel is very runny, I store the tube upside down so that it doesn't spill out as quickly when dispensing. You should really consider a different container/dispenser.
