I was skeptical about this kit due to its low price but it seems genuine in every way. The key fits perfectly on the lid and is made of durable metal. This is not a one-time key; it will last for years. The filter looks very well constructed and fits perfectly with the dimensions of what I took out. It even has German and BMW stamps on it, although those things may be fake. But the construction is solid here too. I even bought a second aftermarket "premium" filter (which I will now keep for my next oil change) just in case and both look very well constructed, comparable to the original BMW filter. The rings are made of hard rubber, but soft at the same time. The oil pan bolt washer looks and feels like a replaceable one.
