Maybe the valve inside is better, but if that one breaks, I'll see if there's a guarantee. I can get another one and still pay less than Mopar. It took less than a minute to pull the old one out and put this one in. It looked the same too. Now my air conditioning and cruise control are working again. DON'T BUY A WOODEN DORMAN UNIVERSAL THAT STATES THAT IT FITS A '98 JEEP CHEROKEE. I FOUND THIS EXACTLY SUITABLE AFTER I bought the crappy one. LOOK AT WHAT A THIN AIR TUBE OF A VERSATILITY IS!
