Review on Mighty Mutt Hypoallergenic De-Shedding Dog Shampoo 16 Oz - Reduce Shedding, Clean & Nourish Fresh Breeze Scent by Adam Gray

I used this shampoo on my Norwegian Elkhound. She's not the type of dog who needs baths very often and she hates it. I did some research on the concept of de-shedding shampoo since I didn't understand how it could work - dogs shedding cycle is a natural part of their coat. Apparently it's supposed to help any excessive shedding by nourishing their skin and promoting a healthy coat. The shampoo has a nice light scent which was perfect as I don't love heavily perfumed/artificially scented products. The bottle recommended letting it sit on their coat before rinsing, but I wasn't able to since I was fighting a 45 pounds dog to stay in the shower. It foamed up nicely and rinsed pretty quickly which was nice, especially since she has insanely thick fur. It seemed like I used quite a bit of product, but she does have a lot of fur to wash! Her coat smells nice, is soft, and her white fur is really bright. Overall, I'm happy with the shampoo just make sure you have the right expectations in relation to shedding reduction!
