The sound quality is quite good. Unfortunately, there are too many flaws to recommend this product. Poor antenna design - my kid broke it on one of the first uses. Because if the antenna is up, the handle will hit it when rotated to the use position. The other main disadvantage is that it is not intuitive to use. There's no tuning wheel - you have to program the stations and then scroll through them one by one. Very strange. It may have features, but you won't know, understand, or remember how to use them, and do you know how easy it is to lose a small instruction manual for something like this? Also, I tried playing files from a USB stick and it didn't work. I tried the MP3 format, which I think is universal. Now it's basically a paperweight or a very annoying standard radio.
