First of all it's great! I bought these for a trip to the beach as I didn't think the pegs that came with our canopy would hold up well in the sand. These things caught easily in the beach sand and held tight. The canopy would have torn before they got out of the ground. The built in twist handle is also handy for those last few turns to tighten them up. When we got home I decided to just keep using them in the garden instead of the old stakes. I was a bit worried that since they aren't metal they would have a hard time going through the floor and I might end up breaking one of them. But they worked just as well in our heavy clay soil as they did in sand. I definitely recommend them for anything you need to backup and don't want to lose.
