This tool has been so helpful when I was managing my own HR program! Being able to see all my employees in one place and view their individual pay rates, benefits, training opportunities and leave requests has been extremely useful. When I would get a request, I would simply click 'approve' or 'decline' and move on. I've had no issues getting approvals since implementing this system. It's amazing how much time it saves having an employee database available online. Before using this software, I spent hours upon hours searching through paper files and email accounts trying to find information related to an employee. Now everything is right there at my fingertips and I spend more time doing things I love instead of hunting down data.
Pros
- I'm a big fan of the calendar feature as it helps keep me organized, knowing what needs to be completed and when
- Helps save time by keeping all your records on-line and making it easier to access them from anywhere.
Cons
- For example, it does not support importing Excel spreadsheets, although you can export a CSV file from Excel.
- There are some bugs in the application that may affect performance, especially if the database is large (like mine).
