Review on Descendants Back-to-School Backpack Set by Gerald Mcrae

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Disappointing, especially the price

That was a birthday present for my 7 year old daughter. I ordered 3 offspring for comparison. The rest was of lower quality than this one. The backpack has only 1 side pocket for a thermos/water bottle; the zipper in the main compartment is one-sided, not two-sided; the material is not durable. The included plastic bottle, ice pack, and soft keychain are cheaply made and useless. . She either carries her lunch box around or puts it in her main backpack, forgoing a roomy, hands-free school bag. She's been using it for 3 months and I hope it lasts until June. My most recent experience was with the Frozen II backpack she previously had. It was much better in quality and performance; 2-way zip, outside pockets, durable overall. It has survived the whole school year and is now being used by her little sister who loves Elsa! A few small holes in the mesh and some of the glitter is gone. (It's $17 at Target or Walmart!) The matching lunch box is $8. We all learned something this year!

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • For the old
