As another user wrote, it works best in a disinfection cycle. I misread the product description when purchasing and I don't have it on my machine which was the purpose of ordering the product. As for cleaning, I use another eco-friendly product that is much better, cheaper and smells better in my opinion. There were a few minor stains that were removed on the first wash but were removed by adding Oxy-Clean. Again, this missed the point of buying this particular product.
