Large hot rollers work well
I am pleased with how well and quickly these larger diameter hot rollers heat up. They have thinner but somewhat wavy hair almost to their shoulders. I leave the curlers on for 10-15 minutes (until they cool). If it is removed before cooling, there is no special effect. 4/5 stars because of clips. They tend to leave a "curve" on the rollers at the top of their heads unless one is very careful. "U" shaped pins from my (35 year old) old Miss Clairol Hot Rollers work better. Incidentally, Miss Clairol's curlers still work well, just too small and leave a very tight curl.
