I love these hot rollers and am very happy with my purchase. One of the tricks my hairstylist did on my wedding day is to spray some hairspray on my hair first before he applies hot curlers and the result was amazing so I'm doing this now and it never fails, a bit is of great importance. so don't inject! I apply some hair oil for shine and the curls last at least 2 days.

I've tried at least 7 curlers in the last 5 years. My favorites were T3 reels, but they had flaws. The reels get hot enough to burn your hands and heat up almost instantly. These are expensive 8 reel kits ($100+) and the reels themselves will fail and you will have to buy replacement reels at a cost of $10-$15 per reel. I had to buy 8 rolls in 9 months. I love the vertical size of the set and the great curlers, but the big problem is removing the curlers and putting them back on the heating rod! This is very tedious and time-consuming. I would consider this a significant design flaw. If you don't want curlers to work occasionally and are looking for curlers that are easy to put on and take off, don't buy this set!

I liked these reels until one day they started arcing and sparking. I contacted Remington and they quickly replaced the unit. After using the new set for 5 months it stopped working. I am pleased with how well and quickly these larger diameter hot rollers heat up. They have thinner but somewhat wavy hair almost to their shoulders. I leave the curlers on for 10-15 minutes (until they cool). If it is removed before cooling, there is no special effect. 4/5 stars because of clips.
