Aquarium Hobbyist's Dream

If you have an aquarium, CONNECT ONE to a 3/8 inch garden hose adapter. This saves you many hours of time and protects your back. Changing the water is as follows: 1. Connect the hose to the tap and put the other end in the tank. 2. Quickly open the faucet so that the water flows into the tank and all the air escapes from the hose, hold the end of the hose under the water. 3. Turn off the faucet, disconnect the end of the hose from the adapter and place it in the bathtub (stop the water flow with your finger). The pressure of the faucet will start the siphon (don't suck the hose until you're over). off) 4 . Drain as much water as you want into the tub, lift the hose off the aquarium to stop the siphon 5. Reconnect the end of the hose to the adapter 6. Fill the aquarium (add conditioner when filling added so that it dissolves during filling) . I've used it for about 2 years and it has never leaked. I turned off the aerator to improve the pressure. re (an aerator gives you the same pressure as a traditional faucet, but I wanted to fill my tanks faster). I've moved since I bought it so it survives moving it to a different faucet (as opposed to the shower heads). It has been connected and disconnected many times and still connects very well (no leaks). Installation was easy (all it took was a pair of heavy duty pliers) and it still works like a regular sink without the plug in. When installing, be sure to use exactly one o-ring (I recommend using the one used with the product as it's newer). No O-ring or two O-rings will not cause leakage. It's worth noting that it sits lower in your sink than a traditional faucet (obviously, right?). So if you have a very shallow sink this may not be for you. However, I've had it in standard sinks and it didn't interfere with normal use.
