the sole is firm and the shoe is very light (both very good) but it doesn't accommodate the foot well and has a bulge at the ball (not the heel) of the foot. Still run in but usually only buy Asics because other brands always seem to have deformed or uneven insoles that don't support the foot. This shoe appears to be cheap piece quality. Bought them for less than 35 and can usually get decent shoes for that price. They were inexpensive and looked beautiful. Not very comfortable. I can't imagine running in it unless it's for my life.
