We have two, one as a spare. Originally given one as I requested in the registry after reading it was machine washable. I don't think they really recommend cleaning the packaging this way, but we've washed and dried two of them multiple times with no side effects. My daughter loves this baby very much and takes it everywhere with her, including to her bed to sleep in. She started using it consistently after a year and is still loving it 5-6 months later, which is impressive for a ten second attention span. My only complaint is that the head has become a little wobbly and gets dirty very easily.
