Review on Adapter Angled Female Extension Degree by Tim Harrington

This works fine with a pi4 where I have an SSD with built in USB 3 port as the boot drive use. However, there is extra plastic blocking another USB port in the stack; A few minutes with an electric sander fixed it and now either connector can be used. The opposite adapter (below) is a bit tight on the inside of the flex used in the pi4 with a case so I can try expanding it a bit. The extra black plastic seems enough to keep key components from being damaged by sanding.
