Review on Enhanced Supco SZ7014648 Defrost Timer - Advanced Replacement for Sub-Zero 7014648 by Negil Dunnigan

My Sub-Zero freezer had trouble forming ice cubes and icicles on the edges of the cooling unit. I remembered this freezer showing the same symptoms about 6 years ago and I spent $200 calling a service technician to fix it. All he did during that time was swap out the defrost timer and everything was back to normal. So this time I decided to order a new timer and replace it myself since it was such a cheap part. It was easy to do and solved the problem once again. I saved myself the cost of another service visit. Just be aware that after 5-6 years of continuous use these little devices start to go haywire. This replacement part fits perfectly and matches the bracket and connector exactly. Great deal for the price!
