I bought these buttons because I was saving a pair of shorts that were too big for me and they are perfect for one fit smaller waists. Silver pairs well with most pants, so having a pair can come in handy. I'm not sure how the silver color will wear off over time so I recommend taking it off before washing your clothes so you don't lose the backing or rub off the silver coating. The only issue I have with these pens is that they are a little tricky to open and close so it usually takes me a while to get the back off hence the one star deduction.
