Nylon is not a favorite fabric at all, but these pants are quite comfortable, and even though I am petite, the waistband does not roll with all-day wear. The front pockets are adequate to hold a smaller cell phone and the waist elastic is sturdy enough that the phone's weight does not pull the pants down. Due to the stretchiness of the fabric, pocket contents definitely show bulges. I have not used the hidden, inside back pocket because it has awkward access for an item you might want to reach for frequently. Good to have though.
