I bought this device to use with my iPad. The description said it was cap compatible but it wasn't. I had to remove the cover to fit the iPad Air. I bought the device to use for a remote church service. The zoom is in operation and the device is on a sloping pedestal. The device has slipped, so I use the iPad sleeve on the bottom of the device. The device is fully adjustable and will stay in place when rotated in the desired direction. A person may need to adjust their position when used to stream. This device is a good investment. The assembly wasn't difficult. I recommend.
