It's a full-time waist!

During Covid I had to do the plumbing myself and these types of connections are a complete waste of time. They showed "Yes" on my "NO" sensor but they leaked when I turned on the water. I had to decide on a ring style that is a full ring that you curl all the way around instead of curling on the side. PLEASE don't take. I don't know why this style is sold in a set of red and blue pex tubing with this type of connector. You are unreliable. Go with a style that forms a full circle. You will need to buy 2 sizes as you will need 1/2" pex tubing for appliances and 3/4" pex tubing for mains, then 2 ring sizes, 2 clamp sizes and one that usually has a no go sensor contain. . I hope this helps those of us who need to make our own piping. DO NOT use Pex Sharkbite connectors. Look at the videos on the net, they do NOT work!

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION. Slide these PEX clamps onto the hose and then slide the hose onto the fitting. Close the clamping eye with suitable clamping tools until it fully engages. Provides a strong, tight and reliable crimp connection.
Cons
  • Protection
