Review on 💽 SEDNA - Internal SATA III 2.5" Hard Drive/SSD Dock by Kaushik Hall

I liked the idea of these blocks. I bought two. This is a unique product but unfortunately quite cheap. The product is basically a passive device. The SATA data cable just goes through, as does the power. The power connector is made of fairly fragile material. Three stars for build quality. I bought them to be able to switch SSDs with different operating systems and software configurations. Sometimes when switching from one drive to another, the OS on the SSD gets corrupted due to unknown reasons. (Yes, I shut down the system before swapping drives!) I'm not sure if there's an interaction between my ASUS Hero VIII Alpha motherboard's EFSI bios and the different OS configurations on each drive, or if I'm using SSDs from different manufacturers. or device quality. If I don't change the SSD, the operating system remains stable.
