Review on 🔌 20ft DC Power Extension Cable 2 Pack 2.1mm x 5.5mm Compatible with 12V DC Adapter Cord for CCTV IP Camera, LED, Car - White by Dawn Miranda

I needed to extend the led strip power cord from the control box to the outlet. The AC/DC adapter and control box used a DC plug for quick disconnect. This DC power strip was exactly the size, both inside and outside diameter, that I needed. I certainly could have plugged in a longer cable, but this option worked much better for my needs. I still have to run all the wiring through the attic, but that can wait until autumn/winter ;) Cables are nice and flat. It's currently running along the bottom of the closet while I wait for cooler temperatures. Also, I wanted to test the concept to make sure everything worked the way I wanted it to. We moved into a house that had no light in the laundry room. It is down a short hallway and the pantry is directly opposite and has two large doors leading to both rooms respectively. Almost no ambient light can enter the rooms, and when the doors are open it simply blocks the sparse amount of light that could enter. two weeks and it quickly became an expensive and frustrating fixture. I installed an LED strip combined with a motion activated IR jack and it works absolutely perfectly! I installed an IR sensor in the middle of the cabinets below so it would detect movement from any open door. I cannot express how well this little project turned out. I still have to run the wiring to the LEDs through the attic but that can wait until autumn/winter ;) Because this purchase came with two DC extenders I can add the LEDs on the other side of the pantry if I run the wiring in the attic later this year!
