Good price for basic materials, but if you don't have the tools to fix cold solder joints, you're in for a bad future. Had to fix 5 out of 8 connections before trying to use it. I would buy it again as the time to repair links combined with the price outweighs the 62% failure. In the past I've repaired higher quality ($$) cables out of the box, which isn't very nice, but a quick fix. However, if the price goes up I will buy the base parts and make my own cables.
