Apparently not reverse osmosis but when I bought this filter I was expecting a difference of over 5ppm. I've attached a video showing my tap water (South Florida) compared to this filter (adjusted for parts per million), the difference is 5 parts per million. Not very disappointed, I have no water testing experience but was curious about the differences in specs when I ordered a water tester and tried it out as shown in the video. I ran this test three times and each time the difference was only 5 parts per million. Maybe life doesn't change? Or maybe our tap water is that good. And maybe this filter works better in places with terrible tap water. Tastes (tastes) much cleaner, I give it credit for filtering out the chlorine. Installation is easy too, so props for that! I still feel like I need reverse osmosis for PH. Maybe this and a reverse osmosis filter would be a good combination (especially if you have bad tap water).
