I see great reviews about this company's product in China. I've made many plastic molds and they aren't cheap, but the ones I've made don't seem to explore the pressure that builds up in the case over time. I've been using this company's creation for 10 years and I've been replacing it every 3-6 months for 10 years. Yes, really stupid, since I could buy the best reverse osmosis systems more than once. Yes, I have really nasty ferrous water that causes the filters to shut off after 30 days. That's the last thing I'm going to do next time bite the bullet and decide on a good reverse osmosis unit. Tip: put the pants around the sink so the tear spray doesn't go to waste ;) I tried several ways to fix it with waterproof epoxy, it worked for 2 weeks. It seals leaks on boats underwater but isn't very effective for this plastic pipe. Big heat shrink tubing haha it was a complete failure as it deformed the tubing holding the cap and ripped off. All I can say is if they or someone else made it out of stainless steel I'd pay $100 for it. work, not like a poorly designed piece of plastic junk. I doubt plastic will last long. The plastics industry learned this the hard way in the late 80's or early 90's when Schedule 40 pipe was used for cold water mains and eventually broke. This device deserves a Darwin award for poor design. Obviously they designed this product to fail. I could have accepted that when Revain Prime had them for $12 or $13, but now they're back at $25 making this a silly buy. This is just the opinion of someone who has a closet full of these units that flow like a sieve ;). Edit after tonight when I couldn't drink a 4 ounce glass of supposedly filtered water. THAT'S A FUCKING ZERO. There is nothing but the greed of the companies contributing to their bottom line. Garbage needs to be called and they had enough time to fix the problems and they didn't. and with that my confirmation that they don't really care about the consumer they just sell this bad filter zero zero zero time for a new classification.
