Bought 4 packs for my son's room so we can put things on timers so he can turn on his lamp before he enters his dark room. I opened the box, read the instructions, connected the first plug and continued to follow the connection instructions. It took 10 attempts to connect to the wifi, but eventually the first plug connected and started with Alexa. Installed plug number 2 for the TV and figured I could put it on a timer to turn it off at a certain time each night. Well, it works to turn off the TV, but it won't turn on the TV or connect to Alexa. I haven't sent them back yet, but I most likely will. If you need smart plugs for anything other than lights, don't buy them.
