Painted steel, not aluminum

Nice box at a reasonable price. Painted steel, so it's a little harder to drill or punch than an aluminum box. I used one of these to assemble the PSU and it worked fine, but I replaced the front panel with a thicker aluminum panel. All panels are bolted to two plastic frames at the front and back. Everything is held together with these plastic parts, but works perfectly. You can disassemble the front, back and top covers to get easy access to the bottom for assembling parts. There are reinforcements at the top corners since the lid is made of fairly thin steel. Nice finish, maybe powder coated. Mine arrived damaged. Wrapped in paper-thin bubble wrap and tossed in a box along with other loose items. Scratches on the front, dent on the back. A bag of case screws thrown in the box scratched the inside, so I can't just flip the scratched panel over because the inside is worse. Most people take pride in their work when they are allowed to.
