Rugged project box with a thoughtful design

This project box worked great as both a temperature controller and a CNC controller. Of particular note is the accessibility from all sides, above and below, which makes the assembly of parts and components much easier than if only the sides were removed. Another nice feature is the sturdy box. I've added a kill switch on top of the CNC control box and when I'm panicking I like to hit that top switch. Painted steel, not aluminum

Nice box at a reasonable price. Painted steel, so it's a little harder to drill or punch than an aluminum box. I used one of these to assemble the PSU and it worked fine, but I replaced the front panel with a thicker aluminum panel. All panels are bolted to two plastic frames at the front and back. Everything is held together with these plastic parts, but works perfectly. You can disassemble the front, back and top covers to get easy access to the bottom for assembling parts. There are…

Very versatile case!

This bag is perfect for my needs. The seller has a wide range of sizes and shapes. I made a template of what I wanted to put in the case and chose the one that suited my needs. The cases are made of 20-gauge aluminum (0.812 mm or 0.03196 in). The aluminum is thick enough to be strong but thin enough to be easily cut. I used a tool called Nibbler and a fine file.
