If you're looking for a great bike carrier this is it and it fits a wide range of bike sizes. Easy to install by following the included instructions. Great site to find the dial setting for different cars. This works well for the 2002 Accord and also works well for the 2016 Ford Escape. The trunk and tailgate open correctly with no interference from the trunk. The roof rack adapts to a variety of vehicles, check the Yakima website to see if it fits your vehicle. It's strong but not thin. I would buy this shelf again. Compared to other cheaper stands, this stand feels more durable with a lifetime warranty. Other cheaper roof racks may not last as long as this one and may not adapt to as many vehicles as the Yakima rack. If you're using this rack for women's or low-bar bikes, be sure to order it with the Yakima Tubetop handlebar adapter. (also well built)
