It was a bit difficult to find a trunk with a manufacturer recommendation for our Volvo XC60. So I chose Yakima as one of the few places where our car is even listed. This is a very good bike rack. It got 4 stars instead of 5 because of a couple of imperfections that didn't matter to me. For reference I have a two bike version and I installed it on a 2013 Toyota Venza crossover. I used this roof rack on a 2017 Mazda CX 5 for a 10 hour 3 mountain bike ride in the mountains of North Carolina. My car had dents underneath, but I don't think it's the trunk.
