Does not work with modern mountain bikes. Even with a $60 pipe. The clamp designed to attach to the seatpost doesn't leave room for it unless you rotate the bike back and forth and slide it into place. Renting a bike is even worse. It's all in the rear tire. Second, if you don't have internal cable routing, your bike will transfer all of its weight to your brake lines (see pictures). the seat post scratches both. When this is applied to keep the bike level, the clamps securing the bike are no longer valid as your saddle is now in the way. I suppose Jerry can figure out a way to attach this bike mount to work with my bike (Diamondback Line 2019), but at around $300 total I don't feel like I need to rig anything, and I should work immediately.
