I bought the USB version for PC gaming and cordless calls at home. For $18 used I have no regrets. If I pay $30? Well, the lack of any sort of hinge on the earcups means you'll have to flex the frame to your liking, hoping that solves the uneven pain points on the clip. Which I also succeeded. If it's convenient for you, I'd say a new one costs $30-40. However, due to this deficiency, my son has tried it and finds it hurts. However, I would rate it as comfortable for 12 hours post-correction and only slightly warming. Without a fix, the front of the ear cups was putting too much pressure towards the mouth and I would need a refund. The speaker and mic sound good, not great, but I've heard a lot worse. The microphone is loud enough when needed and can be folded to the side so that breathing and blasting noises are muffled. The microphone sounds okay, and decent YT videos can be recorded with it if necessary. Does what I need for my home phone.
