Review on SereneLife SLPUMP30 - 110W 12V Digital Electric Air Pump Compressor | Quick Inflator / Deflator w/ LCD, 0-20 PSI | Ideal for Inflatable SUP Stand Up Paddle Board, Boat, Water Sports Inflatables by Nathan Skipper

I bought this in spring in anticipation of summer fun and didn't try it until the weekend of July 4th 2020. I plugged in the pump and immediately the fuse blew, so I replaced the 10 amp fuse with a 15 amp fuse and it blew again. I decided to leave my hand pump at home since I had this new pump and didn't get a chance to inflate my paddles, so I decided to take the fork apart to see if I could figure out the problem and found one Short circuit in the fork. I tried to fix the short but the design made it difficult to assemble the parts without shorting and I ended up just leaving the wires directly on the battery terminals to get through the weekend. Given the $80+ price tag, you'd think this should work out of the box. I would advise interested buyers to look elsewhere as there is no guarantee and these pumps seem to be problematic. UPDATE: I tried using the descent feature and it deflated faster without the help of the pumps. Also, while filling up the paddleboard I noticed that the gauge isn't even remotely accurate and I couldn't get the gauge to go above 10psi.
