Review on π Pack of 20 Apsara Beauty Dark School Wooden Pencils HB Black with 2 Sharpeners and 2 Erasers by Kelly Caballes
Good Indian pencils
Bought these to try out the pencils made in India. Beauty pencils look attractive and hold the tip well. However, I find them disappointingly light for a "dark" pen that writes in hardness between HB and B (unlike the Apsara Platinum which has a B-2B). I would compare Beauty to Nataraja's Ruby in the Dark, with the font only being slightly darker than the General's Half Hex HB. Given that Ruby is cheaper, I honestly can't say that Apsara Beauty is worth the price compared to other Indian-made options.
