My son uses these markers on an eraser board to write letters and words and, less importantly, to draw associated pictures. He's been using the same token for the last 8 months and it's still working. You write accurately and clearly, but erasing requires a slightly damp paper towel rather than a simple dry erase. I bought similar EXPO markers that ran out after a few weeks and had some colors that you couldn't even see clearly. The EXPO markers can be dry wiped, but they run out very quickly and they don't write very clearly either. I LOVE Crayola products especially because they are made in the USA.
