Depending on your saddle

I've been wearing these bibs for about 500 miles. Sometimes they are best bang for the buck, other times I feel like I'm sitting on a wet lumpy pillow. It all depends on the saddle with which they are combined. It's almost impossible to tell if they'll suit you - everyone has different body and bike preferences. I'm a fat guy - 5ft 10" and bought these when I was 210lbs. Now I weigh 195 pounds and 2XL still fits me. These bibs are the best I've ever used on my mountain bike - three hours. rides and I have never felt so comfortable. I can't remember what saddle this bike has, but it has a center cutout with minimal padding. My TT bike, however, is a different story. Saddle - typically shaped saddle with minimal padding and no grooves - these breastplates were terrible. Extremely uncomfortable to drive, so much so that it cut short drives. Too much padding and material pushed in places that shouldn't be pushed. I upgraded it to a Cobb Fifty Five saddle with a split nose and that connection still isn't the best. This accident caused deafness, and deafness is not bueno. Riding with these bibs is a little more comfortable than without them once you hit the 2 or 3 o'clock mark, but numbness is an issue. I think finding a bib with less padding (maybe real triathlon shorts/suit) in combination with a cobb would work better. Overall, these bibs offer good value for money. They feel decently sewn, they don't have any itchy spots, they don't ride up and the elastics around the waist really help to keep them in place. It is not known if these bibs will make you more comfortable in the saddle - this is a matter of trial and error. Considering the price, it's probably worth trying.

Pros
