I was impressed when I went online to the PPE website - their filters surpassed anything I had previously viewed online. I also checked Silverado's engine filter packaging forms. This motor filter is huge and filters down to 5 microns. The Trans Filter is lower than the Allison and can be seen from the side, but I don't intend to go off-road with my double standard 4x4 height. The 3500HD has 76,000 miles on it and needs a transmission oil change. I dropped a sump, new internal filter, PSA spin-on filter and 12 liter Transynd. I think I will have no problem doing 2400 miles round trip and towing a loaded 10k trailer in the future.
