This sharp and effective pill splitter works great for cutting pills into halves or quarters.It is easiest on round pills since you just tilt the device backward to have the pill drop into the "V" area which aligns it perfectly for a perfect split into equal halves. If you are splitting a half pill into a quarter pill or if you are working with oblong pills, you need to be a bit more careful to align the pill by hand (sideways in the "V") so that it will give you a perfect split (it cannot auto-align pills that are not round).It works on pills of all sizes that I have seen.It is easy to clean and remove dust left over from splitting pills (to avoid contamination when splitting pills of other types).The brush provided is also helpful with the cleaning process.The pill bottle is nice and works well. It can hold several pills and has a nice seal with a ring gasket to keep water and moisture away from the contents. It also has a ring for attaching to whatever.
