This is a sugar scrub; You rub it onto your lips and the granulated sugar polishes away the dead skin, then the sugar dissolves, leaving your lips with a smooth, moisturizing, slightly oily sheen. It smells great and tastes great! On the plus side, if you've already done your makeup and then find that your lips look dry, you can do this scrub and it won't ruin the rest of your makeup since you don't have to rinse it off (I like to lick it off). The downside: If you leave the oil on your lips, it gets a bit sticky over time, which is probably due to the dissolved sugar. Bottom line: I prefer this to rubbing my lips with petroleum jelly and a toothbrush because it tastes so good and is less sticky than wiping with sticky, bad-tasting petroleum jelly or other oils. It tastes like Boom Popsicle!
