Review on Aquaboon Universal Filtration Sediment Cartridge by Jason Paredes

I bought two of these filters to replace another one I had. The main reason is the brass threads on the inlet/outlet holes. My old one was plastic and I just didn't see it last that long. I love the design and I love that it's transparent. I use one as a sediment/chemical filter and it goes directly into the layer of polyphosphate granules in the second housing. A transparent body is needed to see when the poly granules are running low. The filter that came with it is very basic, I have pretty hard water (Egan, Minnesota) and I replaced it with a more advanced filter after just a month because it was already very discolored and staining my sinks very quickly.
