It was VERY easy and quick to follow the instructions to download the phone app and connect the SV3C PTZ cameras. Even before I bought it, I used my cell phone to check the WLAN signal strength on the front door and balcony. When the cameras arrived I provisionally installed them in my room and played for a few days: testing day and night videos. After being sure of the quality and learning how to use it, I mounted it from the outside. Be very careful when inserting the SD card. The SD card slot's tiny screws are very thin. Watching, downloading and converting recorded h264 video clips to MP4 on my not-so-complicated Samsung J7 is exceptionally convenient and easy. Steps to take: 1. When you click on the recorded online clip on the SD card, the app will ask whether you want to play, download or cancel. Play first; If you want to download, then Step 2. Click Download. The file will be loaded into your phone's boot-in h264 file. Step 3. On the in-app video viewing page, switch to local instead of online. Clips are uploaded. Step 4. Click on the file to play and/or convert to mp4. I convert to mp4 and transfer clips to PC for easier video editing. Then delete local downloads from your phone. I tested the app and watched live streams and recorded clips from various locations at home and/or on the go. During setup and testing in my room before final installation, the company provided me with detailed instructions via email whenever I contacted support. Any email query you have, you will get help very quickly. The hardest part for me was running the two 30 foot power lines to the cameras. My attic was too low. Please note that I purchased additional power lines separately from Revain. Once I hooked up the power lines to my cameras, everything else was easy. The cameras were already connected to my WiFi.
