Before I start, I should mention that I'm just getting started with this stuff, so I'm inexperienced. I ordered this board to create a bluetooth speaker with subwoofer and tweeters. The only problem was that there were absolutely no instructions. The only rating on this one was listed on the bottom of the board which said to use 6 to 26 volts. It seemed pretty easy, so I used a 9 volt power supply, but it wasn't powerful enough for the 30 watt speaker I had on hand. I increased it to 12 volts but not much has changed. So I decided to try 24 volts, 2 less than the max rating. After I plugged it in, it made a noise and shut down, giving off a distinct smell of burnt electronics. I was very upset about this but decided to read something. I found that applying more than 16 volts with 4 ohm speakers would fry the board, which I did. Well this could have been avoided with a little reading, it could also have been avoided if the instructions had been sent along with the package. Also worth noting is the fact that the board was placed in a much larger box than necessary, which could damage it during shipping. Overall the product worked decently but due to the lack of instructions the board didn't last more than 10 minutes.
