They are still holding up very well, the only sign of wear is that the elastic strap, which is pulled around the wrist and then fixed with velcro, loses elasticity and the faux leather has very small tears in several places. We even found a pair of weighted gloves to fit underneath, bringing the total weight to 17 ounces. Per gauntlet only, so she now trains with the equivalent of a heavy, long gauntlet. We still think these deserve a five star rating and consider them good value considering my wife has trained with them for hundreds of hours and they are still comfortable, supportive and hold up very well.
