There's a lot to like about this clicker. It's lightweight, ergonomic, and seems to have good battery life so far. The laser pointer is very clear and visible from a distance. However, after testing this clicker with a few different slideshow software I might use, I find that one only gets the full functionality with Microsoft PowerPoint. I do not find this ideal as many of my slide decks are PDFs. Outside of PowerPoint, the "fullscreen" button serves to exit presentation mode but not to enter fullscreen or presentation mode. The blackout button does not work with my usual PDF reader (Sumatra), but works fine on Adobe, Google Chrome (as a PDF display), and Google Slides. That said, the core functionality---slide advance/rewind and the laser pointer---are totally fine across platforms. I was really hoping that the fullscreen button would fully work with my PDF readers, but I find this workable.
