It can't be configured with the Alexa remote/plugin and won't turn on after power is restored to the outlet. You have to use the remote control or turn it on manually each time. The bottom bar of the star did not match the metal part that came with the kit. But I still haven't used the metal part. I put it on my wooden tree, so I drilled a hole in the top of the tree and attached it that way. All parts come separately and you need to assemble the star. It wasn't that bad and I like how it turned out.
