Review on HUION KAMVAS 13 interactive flat panel purple by Stanisaw Augustynowi ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

Great GPU for the money. I took it to expand the arsenal for the iPad, since the Apple tablet does not cover all the needs for drawing. The tablet started up from the first connection and was immediately determined by the PC, since Huion's software is normal and intuitive. The diagonal is enough for detailed drawing and larger-scale work; as for me, it is successful, since the GPU does not take up much space and you can carry it with you. The pen for my small hand turned out to be mega comfortable: pleasant to the touch, with an optimal diameter closer to the tip. Tilts and pressures are worked out as they should. The glove is soft, sits well on the hand, in it it slides very smoothly and smoothly over the surface of the tablet. Color rendition is normal, and this is the most accurate word I could come up with: it meets its stated 120% sRGB, but it clearly takes it into cold, reddish shades; where there should be sepia gray Huion gives a slight magenta. Therefore, I always had to check the palette on the monitor. Conclusion; in comparison with the iPad and BenQ, there is no smell of honest color reproduction. But! Even with the available writing in color, it turns out without persistent feelings of missing the palette. Perhaps this is corrected by calibration, which I cannot say - my hands did not reach, but I have not needed it yet. I will highlight the buttons as a separate item. I don’t know how they managed to do this with the general high quality of materials and assembly of the tablet and pen to pile such backlash and, subjectively, tactilely unpleasant buttons. They are pressed through with a margin and walk in the grooves, although the entire block looks monolithic. I have to use the keyboard in the old fashioned way, although I took the tablet with the expectation of using hotkeys - they, unfortunately, didn’t really fit me. I emphasize - this point is only my perception. Well, separately about the viewing angles. I think it's a feature, not a bug - the vertical RO's are just bombastic compared to the horizontal ones where you have to squint into the picture trying to read the color and details. But sitting behind a canvas, you only need a vertical. Cap.

Cons
  • - Horizontal viewing angle (weak); -Slight lag in response when drawing with slow, short strokes (not critical); - The color is a little cold; -Quality of hotkey buttons; - Slight graininess of the image due to the matte film.
