Review on Illy Classico Roast Coffee Beans - 8.8 oz (250g) by Abdulkarim Sugge

Very good coffee and I'm a bit of a coffee snob. I tried it as a skeptic and was immediately surprised by the packaging. Well thought out delivery, which is my biggest problem with ordering coffee, it's never fresh enough, this one was very fresh on arrival. But it's not magic, the merchandise has to be delivered and it takes time so I'll give 10/10 for the packaging but I'll be using the jars again. The next morning I ground the beans on the thin side and immediately got a nice nose. Putting my skepticism aside and hooked, I took a double shot and watched a thick natural cream build. I figured I should probably thin it down with some latte milk, which I did, but later found it was great on its own. I noticed great mouthfeel and acid balance from the first sip and it was exactly what I was looking for in an Italian cafe style bean. I definitely recommend it if you want advice on local dishes but still want to be fresh. I always recommend whole beans and a good coffee grinder over ground coffee, so I haven't tried their ground version. But whole beans scored a 9/10 for me. Played with pressure and tempo a bit and found that different notes sounded more or less appropriate, amazing.
